VentureBeat reports that Disney CEO Bob Iger dropped a call to EA boss Andrew Wilson only hours before EA made the call to pull all microtransactions from the game. In fact, the controversy has been so bad that Disney supposedly forced EA’s hand and made them remove transactions entirely.
